The Hong Kong Creative Public Relations Competition is the first educational circles event in Hong Kong focuses on PR planning, with the aims to cultivate students’ creativities, professional skills, and collaboration capabilities.
We hereby invite students from all tertiary institutions and over 500 secondary schools in Hong Kong to participate in this meaningful competition. Participants will form teams and have the chance to develop their PR skills across multiple areas of expertise, including strategy planning, copywriting, video production, event management, social media marketing, product promotions, and so on.
The competition will be guided and assisted by seasoned PR veterans, university faculty and other creative professionals. Student will have the rare and valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experiences and insight into the PR industry.
All participating students will receive certificates of participation as an acknowledgement of their efforts. Students with outstanding performance may also receive internship opportunity with leading companies and brands in Hong Kong.

Rules of competition
University level competition participants will be required to conduct market research about a Hong Kong company or brand, and develop a PR strategy and programme tailor-made to meet the business objectives of the company.
During the competition progress, all participating students will receive valuable coaching and PR skills training from relevant and experienced industry professionals.
Local full-time tertiary institutions and university students
Each group shall consist of at least three members, consisting of up to six members
Members of the same group can come from different tertiary institutions and different school departments
Each student cannot participate in more than one team
Each team shall be headed by a student as the principal liaison
Develop a PR plan for an assigned company or brand based on in-depth research and analysis of the market conditions (no more than 10 pages)
* Participants are required to attend a briefing session to understand the background of assigned company
Develop and execute the PR plan for the assigned company or brand including marketing, events, online promotions, etc.
Submit post-event summary and analysis reports
The competition jury consists of professionals the PR and business community including renowned industry leaders, university faculty, PR practitioners, seasoned media professionals, etc. The full list of judges to be announced at a later time.
